Manipulator platform


There are various types of robot manipulator available, parallel manipulator is commonly used because of its advantages. Parallel manipulator is a combination of few actuators that support an end-effector or platform. They are widely used in flight and automobile simulators, in work processes, earthquake simulators, such as higher velocity, acceleration, payload and stiffness.

This research developed a 3 RPS parallel manipulator for a flight simulators. It will be actuated by three hydraulic actuators that extend and contract in harmony to simulate the aviation system.
